Arsenal v Luton – 1988 Littlewoods Cup final highlights
Arsenal’s hunt for their first trophy in five years begins on Sunday against unfancied relegation battlers Birmingham and they’ll seemingly have to do without inspirational captain Cesc Fabregas, who is knacked.
Gunners fans will be hoping to avoid a repeat of the 1988 Littlewoods Cup Final when they were beaten 3-2 by Luton. Blues fans can look on in optimism, whilst Arsenal fans are advised to remember their victory in the same competition the year before.
