BBC Match of the 80s – focusing on a joyous 1984-85 season for Everton, hosted by Danny Baker
Featuring “Peter Reid, who in those days could run all the way to his Nan’s house.”
This series is brilliant and there are six of them.

Thanks for posting this, brings back great memories. The series came out in 1997.
Not only I am an Evertonian, I was also the film researcher on this series when I worked at BBC sport - it was a dream job, ploughing through the video tape of the day.
Nice to see Tooting and Mitcham’s old ground too - a real football ground with great terracing.
Great site by the way.
Cheers Nick and I’m pleased you enjoyed the videos, although I’m extremely jealous of your previous employment!
