EA SPORTS FIFA 12 record breaking scarf competition
The humble scarf - It’s been a symbol of football fandom throughout the ages, although its place on the terraces or in the stands isn’t as dominant as it once was.
EA SPORTS have decided though that there isn’t a more potent sign of support than this practical accessory and to celebrate the launch of FIFA 12, they’re creating the world’s longest football fan scarf.
Two lucky readers of this here blog can be involved in this and get their message of support for their favourite club on the record breaking scarf before the competition goes live to the public.
It has to be under 140 characters and contain none of that foul language that the naughty people at the back of the stand use.
Send your entries to contact along with your name and the scarf colour of your choice before 10am on Wednesday 26 October and I’ll pick two of my favourites. The editor’s decision is final etc, etc.
Good luck, but if you’re unsuccessful this time around then never fear, as they’ll be other opportunities to get involved from 28 October and @EASPORTSFIFA on twitter will keep you informed.
